There are so many amazing places to get married in New York City, but Anna & Michael decided to elope. They wanted a simple and intimate ceremony that was just for them. There is something magical about the city in the wintertime, so Anna & Michael chose to elope the week before Christmas. New York City holds a special place in both their hearts, as it is where they got engaged, and where Anna lived during her college years before moving to California. After a simple city hall wedding and a pedi-cab ride around Central Park, they hosted an intimate reception dinner at The Odeon, a restaurant located in Manhattan's Upper East Side where Anna used to work as a server part-time. She remembered seeing newly married couples come in for lunch or dinner after their own city hall elopements, so it felt fitting to revisit her old stomping grounds after marrying Michael. This unique elopement was made even more special by Anna's choice to wear a chic red statement dress.
